Is there still an issue with the site? Over the past couple days I haven't been able to connect to the sniping tool, even when trying on multiple browsers and devices.

@unknown - There are not any site outages at this time. We had migrated some backend stuff to new database. That is all finished now. Can you check the sniping tool again and see if it is working for you? If not, please email me with a screenshot of what you see.

Hi, I really like the sniping tool. However, when I get an alert for four different auctions that all end in 2 min its pretty hard for me to bid. I've lost out on some great deals. Is there a way to review the alert with more time?

@anonymous - Thanks for that feedback. We want to keep those notices close to the end because prices can change quite a bit near the end. How much lead time do you think is appropriate to take action on auctions?

I would think 5-10 min would be greatly beneficial. If the price is still low enough with this amount of time left, it allows me to go set a max bid on more than just one item. Otherwise, sometimes I have to make a choice quickly. Additionally, it is very important to be able to VERIFY that it is actually a good deal. This can take a few minutes. However, this prevents a buyer from being pressured into bidding on what he may think is a good deal based on the price chart, but is actually a seller error that has caused the sniper program to think the item is something it is not.

@unknown - I think that makes sense. I'll increase it to five minutes in the next server update. Hopefully that gives people more time to make those decisions without feeling rushed.

Thank you

Awesome! Love the site so far and I think updates like this will really help with the little things. Thanks!
