Donkey Kong Country Returns Preview

Retro Studios, the makers of the Metroid Prime games, is recreating the Donkey Kong Country series on the Nintendo Wii and they are doing a great job.

The game keeps the same platforming charm that made the originals so fun. The mine cart levels, banana collecting, barrel shoooting, and difficulty are all there.

DKC Returns is very true to the original games in terms of gameplay but the graphics are upgraded and they look excellent. The colors are all crisp and bright.


Gamers who remember the originals will have a great sense of nostalgia when the play Donkey Kong Country Returns, but new gamers will enjoy the 2D platforming for the rewarding challenge.
