We are at the early stages of looking into some new collectible markets for PriceCharting to expand into. We do not have a set time frame for when this will be, but when we are ready we want to make sure we know what our users think.
Please take answer the questions below and give us your feedback.

Oh geez, can I pick none of the above? :P
@Dave W - Choose "not interested" on all of them and we will get the point :) Haha
I really need you to do pokemon cards!!!!
Don't collect these but I would still be curious to check out TMNT prices for the toys I remember playing with as a kid. Age demographic similar to NES/SNES collectors that are now starting to have some disposable income. Plus with a new movie and current animated series it would be interesting see if that increases interest and prices.
I would focus on making the the game values more accurate before moving onto other hobbies, they have a tendency of being a little. . .off.
Stick with what your know for. Expand in Pong Consoles, Handhelds, Arcade Cabinets, and Player/Power guides. If you really feel up to it. The Video Game merchadise is huge and just as collectible as games.
Great feedback everyone. Video game memorabilia and strategy guides would be great categories to go into.
@anonymous - When you say our prices are a bit off, can you let me know some specific instances? We definitely want to correct this but it is hard to know where the problems are without specific examples. Thank you.
I think that comic books would be interesting; I've never collected them myself, but they seem much more interesting than the other options.
I also like the idea of putting CDs and records up there, but like the old DVDs and Blu-Rays, most of them are dirt cheap.
Strategy guides wouldn't be a bad move at all.
Memorabilia? Prediction? Pain.
Pricecharting prices are not off....I spend TONS of time on eBay and researching videogame purchases as I'm an avid collector. What people need to realize is if you go into the sales history of these games you can look at the games that sold for less than " the accurate price" ... check the listing and look at the pictures and it was probably a game that had some kids name on the front label and a huge, half peeled off blockbuster sticker on the back label. THEN, look at the same game in recent history that sold for the most. You will see it was a mint condition cart as if it just came out of the sealed box. The same game and, per say, a $40.00 difference. Take pricechartings listed AVERAGE selling price and use your best judgement when it comes to condition (if your a collector) or just buy the cheapest, most beat up working game if you just want it to play. But I think with ALL the games on EVERY console....JJ and his boys are doing a pretty good job keeping up. A game is worth what someone will pay for it.....theyre giving you an IDEA of what its been selling for on average in the previous seven days.....as for you JJ, and the guys you got working with you, I reference from pricecharting a TON and check out the blogs regularly.... keep up the awesome work!!! Between your store, pricecharting, blogging, family.......WHAT A WORKLOAD!!!!!
What would be interesting is incorporating shipping and handling into the final price. I think there was a previous post that it usually averages out to the same but it would be interesting nonetheless
You have CIB prices and cart only prices, what about instruction manual only prices?

One thing that needs to be improved is completeness of title of the games and the interchangeability of II and 2 in searches. There was one game I tried to find that has II on the cart, but this site has it as 2. I tried to find one title recently, but the search engine left off all the subtitle. (I think it was a Jak or Daxter game)
@anonymous - Thanks for the comments about search and titles.
We implemented a change on July 8th that fixes search so all roman and arabic numerals work all the time. It doesn't matter now which we use in the title, you will find it in the search results.
Regarding the titles being accurate, we definitely want accurate titles. If notice an inaccurate title please let us know so we can fix it. With 27,000+ games it is hard to find them all ourselves. When we do find them we fix them though so please let us know.
Not really a new category but cool feature. You could add a retro gaming stores directory. Helps expands on retro gaming present/market. Google maps could be interfaced. I really don't know a place that has this. It would add traffic to the site too.
