More Control Over eBay Live Listings

For years, we have shown ebay live listings on some pages so users can find items they might want to add to their collection.

Example of Live Listings

When and who saw these followed very static rules - one size fits all. Some users didn't like seeing the listings. Other people liked seeing them because it helped them quickly find deals.

We have implemented a change now so every logged in user can choose if they want to see these listings and we will remember that preference.

If you like the listings, keep them.
If not, click the black 'x' on the right of the listings and they will disappear. AND we will remember your preference on future visits.

You can even do this page by page. You can keep the listings on the search results page, but hide them on the home page or set pages.

Thank you for using PriceCharting. We hope you enjoy this added customization.

TCGPlayer Sales Data Has Been Added

We are now tracking TCGPlayer sales data and including that in our value calculations.

On the card page (example), you can toggle on your preference to view "all" sales, "ebay only", or "tcgplayer only". This preference only changes what sales are visible, it does not change how the overall values are calculated.

For common cards, this will lower our calculated value and can impact some collection values too. We believe these values, with TCGPlayer sales data, are more accurate for common cards. The prices on eBay will usually include shipping costs which inflates the value of common cards to a higher value then they really are. Yes, this change will have an impact on your card and collection values, but we feel it will be a more accurate value.

This change will not impact the value of expensive/rare cards and it does not impact graded cards.

Thank you for using PriceCharting.
