Current generation game consoles have a new "Most Expensive Game" and its for the Playstation 3: Uncharted 2 Fortune Hunter Edition. It has sold for as much as $1,526.
Back on October 16th 2009, Sony announced they were giving away 200 special edition copies of Uncharted 2. They called it Uncharted 2 Fortune Hunter Edition.
The package includes the Uncharted 2 game, a guide book, an art book, and a replica knife.
Sony would give it away to 200 random people who played Uncharted 2 online October 17th and 18th. In late December the winners received their copies of this rare PS3 game and a few listed them on eBay.
The game quickly became the most expensive Playstation 3 game, and more expensive than any Wii or Xbox 360 game too. On average Uncharted 2 Fortune Hunter has sold for about $800.
If Sony keeps this a true limited edition with only 200 copies, it should easily keep its collectible value and will remain THE most sought after PS3 game.
Thanks to JUGGALOTUS for letting us know about this game on our most expensive playstation 3 games article.

I would like to at least flip through the art book... that seems like something they'd want to publish. The game is one big work of art, so I'd love to see what they fleshed out from the start to the final product.
I knew about the contest to give them away, but I'm pretty sure I was playing through the single player at the time, and couldn't be bothered with multiplayer. I can't believe people would ignore the single-player mode of Uncharted 2, and immediately jump in and start shooting their teammates.
You have to at least play the 1P mode to understand the new controls (it's not all the same from the first game).
Un charted game is really a very nice and high rate game it has very nice and cool actionsequence which give you very nice and fantasric detail for this one it is absolutly nice game.
I hope it's not airborne yet, I think my nephew has one of this package I'll try to buy it from him hopefully he'd sell it to me.
